Loveladies is a residential community on the quiet north end of LBI. First developed in the 1950’s, it was home to fishermen and summer home to many teachers from the mainland. Those teachers had summers off, and when the school year ended they packed up their families, headed for the shore, and stayed until fall when it was time to go back to school.
Our home, LoveladiesCottage, is one of the original 1950’s summer places. It is updated but true to its roots, classic and relaxed.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an outside shower and an open family-friendly floor plan. Set up with one king bed, one queen bed and two sets of bunkbeds, it is most comfortable for up to 4 adults with 4 children. Dogs are welcome, for an added fee.
